Our Story and Team
The proposed land is owned by the Forest Department, Government of Haryana. Uthaan has already been handed over the land for the butterfly park. 30000 flowering plants and 15000 host plants for butterflies will be planted in this 18-acre forest land where butterfly larvae and pupae will get a conducive environment to flourish. Around 20-25 species of butterflies will be initially targeted to be rehabilitated in the park.
A passionate team is already in place for the development of the Park. The dialogue will be facilitated by Uthaan which will seek and maintain stakeholder involvement at each step. Focus on planning and organization will be paramount to ensure that navigating through the 18-acre park is easy.
The landscape designer will take into account of the hardscape comprising the paved areas, stones fences and other hard-wearing material and the softscape, such as trees, lawns, and other plant material which will lend character to the landscaping.
